I love Spotify! If you don’t have a Spotify premium account, I highly recommend it*. There’s nothing quite like it if you want an affordable, legal way to listen to music (that doesn’t require you to stream video on YouTube).
One problem I feel I hear worship leaders talk a lot about is a lack of resourcing. It’s hard to sit and listen through countless hours of worship music to find the song that’s just right for that moment in service. I want to do my part by using the time and effort I’ve put into compiling my own lists to help others.
So far, I’ve created playlists for fast songs, soaking songs, intro/outro music, hymns, and songs that make me want to shout. Every once in awhile, I plan to do a blog post about specific playlists as well. And, in the future, I’ll be creating a list of great choir music!
